On my way to watch the precious 2 year olds at church this morning, I was praying that today God would just confirm why I am home this semester. And God is just so faithful. Upon arriving at church I ran into one of my favorite pastors, Pastor Roger. He talked with me for a good 20 minutes. When I told him about me moving home and pursuing nursing, he tells me, “Kristen, I joke with you a lot, but I am completely serious right now. God has put it on my heart to tell you to not limit God. Why stop at nursing? You would be a wonderful pediatrician. You’ve got it. You’ve got what people love. Pray about it.” WHATTT?? I have never ever ever thought about becoming a doctor. Med school? That is so much work. And while we were talking, two doctors that he knows walked by and we talked with one of them. I am not saying I am going to become a doctor now….but it definitely gives me something new to pray about! Maybe nursing is just a baby step into a new direction….

Anddd I was about to get ready for work when my boss from Coffee Bean called saying that the computer system was down and that he was completely backed up and could not train me today. But just before hanging up he told me that the rest of the employees were raving about me and the work I have been doing and so excited to have me on their staff, that I have been picking things up so well!

I was so nervous to start working because I did not want to mess up! haha yesterday I made an ice blended but I forgot to put a lid on the blender! It didn’t go everywhere praise the Lord, but we all laughed! It’s a learning experience. You make mistakes, learn, and keep going.

God is just so cool. All I want is what You want Lord. I want to be who You want me to be.

These have just been simple reminders that God’s got this, and he’s got me.
